Is the writing Minago produces really my own?
Yes — it's genuinely your own voice! Minago learns from 3 of your own posts to reproduce your voice, tone, and structure — it's your personal ghostwriter, designed to produce your writing, not generic AI text. Just like its name: "written like you, minutes ago." The posts you feed in should be your own writing (or content you have the rights to) — it's not for mimicking someone else's work. You're responsible for the rights to your sources and for whatever you publish
What do I provide to build a writer?
Just provide 3 posts you wrote (URLs or files). Minago learns your voice, tone, and structure from them to build your personal writer. The more your everyday voice shows, the better the result. You can add up to 3 sources, and even 1 is enough to start!
Does cost differ by AI model?
Your plan fee is flat, but how much usage a piece draws depends on the AI you pick — a pricier model uses a bit more for the same piece. There are four to choose from: openai, xai, google (default), and anthropic, each with a slightly different feel. We show the estimated draw before each piece starts, so there are no surprises. If you're unsure, the default google works great!
Can I try it free first?
Yes! When you sign up you get 500 trial Ink (a trial) with no card required — it's valid for 72 hours and is enough to create a writer and try it out (creating a writer costs more Ink the longer your samples are). The trial is one per account. Check whether you like the quality with no pressure, and if you do, start a monthly plan (Light/Standard/Pro). It's a gift, not a charge, so feel free to play around!
How do I get a refund or cancel?
Cancel in Subscription management in Billing to stop future charges; current-period usage remains available until the period ends. Cancellation and refund are separate actions. If no writing has started in the current paid period, use Request refund on the latest payment under Payments & refunds for a full refund. Billing re-verifies your account and checks Minago's usage ledger; a payment already in use is not refundable. See Refund Policy and Subscription Terms for details.
